The Task & The Solution
The fall 2013 Issues and Criticism class culminated in a group project about failure and what we can learn from it. While our classmates were designing the printed publication and the launch party the online team, Carla Brownell, Cameo Chattin and myself, were busy creating a responsive web version of the project. We followed some of the styles from the print team. Bold rules, large headings and irregular image placement all helped connect the digital and printed pieces. Our online copy also included participatory elements. Users were invited to contribute with tweets, vines and even by contributing “bumper stickers” to the website.
Our project was submitted to the 18th Annual Webby Awards.
